Matrix Technical Mouldings can easily provide a prototype tool making service. This can enable a customer to have a finished plastic injection moulded product without the full expense of a multi cavity tool (depending on the size of the tool required).

Production, High volume, Multi-cavity moulds
Multi-cavity 4, 8, 12 and 16, Impression moulds for all types of market sectors. Working with one of our carefully chosen quality mould tool manufacturers, we can take care of your prototype or production tool requirements. The key to quality injection moulding starts from the mould tool, with our project team, we will ensure that the right quality is planned into the mould tool from day one.

Development tooling
These moulds are usually 1 impression, machined in Aluminium or P20 they are used for assessment of the product and also the choice of the ideal polymer for final production moulding. Manumold tooling tools can also be manufactured and parts produced on site in various materials for evaluation.

Pre-production moulds
These moulds are normally 1 or 2 impression. They will only have 1 impression cut in at the start and the 2nd impression will only be added once the final moulding material is agreed and the moulded component verified.
